Introduction
If you’re a fan of Lian Li’s O11 Vision line-up of panoramic PC cases that allow you to showcase the components of your PC build, but found these cases a little too big for your liking, then you’re in luck, as Lian Li’s new O11 VISION-M, a micro ATX PC case that features a panoramic three-sided tempered glass aesthetic, could be just your thing.
Featuring support for Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards, the O11 VISION-M comes with a revised airflow design courtesy of a hidden AIO compartment paired with a vented top glass panel cutout, which allows exhaust air from your AIO radiator to be channeled out of the case with ease - this should pave the way for significantly improved thermals. We've got the usual sweeteners too, such as support for plenty of case fans, great build quality and the like.

Key Features
Three-Sided Tempered Glass Design with Vented Top Glass Exhaust Cut-out
The O11 VISION-M sports Lian Li’s characteristic O11 aesthetic, with three sides-worth of tempered glass panels. With the VISION-M, Lian Li’s put some added thought into improving airflow, which is usually sacrificed at the expense of having the top panel being made entirely of tempered glass (for fish tank-style PC cases with the top panel being made of tempered glass too).
Here, we get a ventilation cutout for the top glass panel, which is designed to channel hot air away from your top mounted AIO radiator, meaning to say we should get decent thermal performance out of the O11 VISION-M.
AIO Compartment Divider with Pre-installed 140mm AIO Assist Fan
We also get a removable divider panel that’s held in place by two screws, where it can be used to obscure your AIO radiator from view should you wish to achieve a cleaner aesthetic.
Otherwise, with the divider panel out of the way, you can view the RGB lighting effects of your AIO radiator’s fans, and Lian Li’s even given end-users the option to 3D print parts that can be used to fill the space between the AIO fans and the motherboard tray, like in the photos on the screen.
Moving on, Lian Li’s also included a pre-installed 140mm AIO assist fan to help provide additional airflow to the AIO radiator, where the specs of the fan are as shown on the screen. To further enhance airflow to the AIO radiator’s cooling fans, you can also mount two more 120mm case fans to the left of the preinstalled 140mm AIO assist fan – do note that this area for the two 120mm case fans can also be used to mount up to three 2.5” SSDs or two 2.5” SSDs and one 3.5” hard disk, in place of the two said case fans.
Thermal & Acoustic Performance
To benchmark the thermal performance of the Lian Li O11 VISION-M PC case, I put together a demo build with the following specifications:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
- CPU Cooler: Lian Li HydroShift II LCD-S 360CL
- CPU Thermal Paste: Arctic MX-4
- Motherboard: MSI B850M Mortar WIFI
- Memory: 32GB (2x16GB) XPG Lancer Blade RGB DDR5 6000 CL30
- Graphics Card: MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16G Gaming Trio OC
- PSU: Seasonic Focus GX ATX 3.1 850W
- Case: Lian Li O11 VISION-M
- Case Fans: 7x Lian Li Uni Fan CL Wireless 120mm (5x reverse blade, 2x normal blade)
- OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro (25H2 with all latest updates installed)
- Fan Curve: Stock standard profiles
In terms of thermal performance, I did a quick performance benchmark with the O11 VISION-M’s demo build, where you can see the specs of the said build on the screen. With F1 23’s in-game benchmark where I ran a five-lap test for around 9 minutes in total, the Ryzen 9 9900X processor in the demo build achieved an average CPU temperature of around 54.9°C, while the RTX 5060 Ti 16G Gaming Trio OC achieved an average GPU temperature of 64.5°C and an average GPU memory junction temperature of 61.6°C. These results were achieved in an air-conditioned room with a temperature of around 28.0°C. A very decent set of results I must say, making this a case that has a three-sided tempered glass aesthetic without the typical pitfall of impaired thermal performance.
The idle temperatures and estimated noise levels with the demo build are as per what you see above, where the fans were in general, audible when the PC was under load, but not annoyingly so and there was nothing out of the ordinary, acoustics wise. For the thermal tests, I left the fan curves on their stock settings without any tweaks – naturally, your thermal performance with this case will vary especially if you’re using different hardware from the demo build in this article!
Conclusion & Pricing
To sum up, the Lian Li O11 VISION-M’s almost certainly going to be a hit, especially amongst fans of the brand who’ve been hoping for a smaller and updated variant of the O11 VISION COMPACT. The case looks great and is well-built, and thermal performance is pretty good too, finally making this one of the few panoramic cases with actually good thermals. That said, building a PC with this case was a little trickier than expected though, where I had to put in quite a bit of effort to get the AIO CPU cooler that I was intending to use for the demo build, a Lian Li HydroShift II LCD-S 360CL, into the case - the design of the AIO compartment meant that a fair bit of AIO tube bending and manipulation was required in order for the AIO radiator to be properly mounted on the top panel of the O11 VISION-M.
In terms of pricing, the O11 VISION-M in black, like the one I have here in this review will go on sale with a MSRP of US$69.99, while the white variant will be available to purchase for a price of US$74.99 – these are pretty attractive prices I must say. The O11 VISION-M Digital, that is, the variant that comes with a built-in 9.2” LCD display screen on the divider panel, is available for a price of US$129.99, for both the black and white variants.
