10 years of AM4 and still going strong - AMD announces the Ryzen 5 5500F, a cut-down version of the Ryzen 5 5600, on the venerable AM4 socket, alongside the Ryzen 5 7500, an AM5 offering that is effectively the Ryzen 5 7500F but with an iGPU.

Today, AMD announced two new additions to the Ryzen 5 desktop processor line-up, where the AMD Ryzen 5 7500 is effectively the same processor as the Ryzen 5 7500F but with integrated Radeon graphics, while the Ryzen 5 5500F is effectively a cut-down version of the Ryzen 5 5600 (and not the Ryzen 5 5500 as one might assume, where the 5500 is built on a different AM4 architecture).
