The ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQNGV is a 27" 1440p gaming monitor with a blistering 360 Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, and features support for G-SYNC PULSAR with no CPU or GPU upgrade required.

(Press Release) ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced that the ROG Strix XG27AQNGV will be available in January 2026. This 27-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) esports gaming monitor features ASUS Ultrafast IPS technology for an incredible 1-millisecond gray-to-gray (GTG) response time. The XG27AQNGV features an esports Dual Mode to enable gamers to play at a resized 25-inch diagonal image at 1080p or 2368 x 1332 resolution. With G-SYNC Pulsar technology, gamers can enjoy up to 4X effective motion clarity (1) paired with G-SYNC Variable Refresh Rate, without the need for CPU or GPU upgrades. In addition, G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive technology uses a built-in light sensor that can automatically adjust the monitor’s brightness and color temperature for more natural and comfortable viewing experiences. The XG27AQNGV will be available for an MSRP of US$649 (2).
The Ultimate Motion Clarity with G-SYNC Pulsar
With the built-in NVIDIA® G-SYNC® processor and next-gen G-SYNC Pulsar technology, gamers can enjoy 4X effective motion clarity — combining G-SYNC Variable Refresh Rate and advanced backlight strobing — without the need for CPU or GPU upgrades. Achieving similar motion clarity through brute-force would require a theoretical monitor with over 1000Hz refresh rate, but Pulsar lets gamers experience that breakthrough motion clarity instantly with a single feature toggle.
Ambient Adaptive Technology
With NVIDIA G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive technology, the monitor’s built-in sensor detects and automatically adjusts display brightness and color temperature to suit the environment, ensuring more comfortable viewing.
Esports Dual Mode
The Strix XG27AQNGV has a built-in NVIDIA G-SYNC processor that provides gamers with incredibly smooth, tear-free gameplay at refresh rates of up to 360Hz and ultra-low motion blur. Gamers will also appreciate the esports Dual Mode feature that lets them play at a familiar 25-inch diagonal screen size in 1080p, or up to a supersharp 2368 x 1332 resolution. There is almost no perceivable latency difference when in Dual Mode, giving the Strix XG27AQNGV the lowest latency in its class for the best first-person shooter experiences.
Rich Connectivity
To ensure support for a wide array of multimedia devices, the Strix XG27AQNGV offers extensive connectivity options including DisplayPort™ 1.4, two HDMI® 2.1 ports, a USB hub, and an earphone jack.
